DURHAM, N.C.—Duke University men’s lacrosse junior Justin Guterding was named the Ronald McDonald House Charities Duke Student-Athlete of the Week, following his performances against High Point and Cleveland State over the weekend.
Guterding paced the Blue Devil offense with a total of seven goals and seven assists for 14 points to lead Duke to a pair of convincing victories. He kicked off the busy weekend of games with his second consecutive hat trick and four points overall as Duke outlasted High Point, 10-5. Guterding’s second tally against the Panthers was the 100th of his career as he became the 18th Blue Devil in program history to reach the benchmark.
