DURHAM, N.C.—Duke University junior attackman Justin Guterding was named to the 2017 USILA All-America second team to headline the Blue Devils' seven selections in the four categories. Brad Smith and Cade Van Raaphorst both earned third-team honors.
Rounding out the seven Blue Devil representatives with honorable mention nods from the USILA are Jack Bruckner, Danny Fowler, Kyle Rowe and Thomas Zenker. The seven choices are the most since Duke had nine representatives in 2014.
Guterding led the Duke offense in 2017 with a career-best 97 points from 51 goals and 46 assists.
