DURHAM, N.C. – Recent Duke graduate Jaimee Gundry is set to take the international stage Tuesday at the 17th FINA World Aquatic Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Gundry will represent her native country of South Africa in the women’s 10-meter platform diving event, beginning with preliminaries and semifinals Tuesday, July 18. The final is slated for Wednesday, July 19 at the Danube Arena.
A 2017 graduate of Duke, Gundry competed for South Africa at the 2015 FINA World Aquatic Championships in Kazan, Russia, where she took 34th on the platform. She has also previously represented her native country at the 2014 FINA Diving World Cup, 2013 FINA World Aquatic Championships and 2012 FINA Junior World Championships.
