BUDAPEST, Hungary – Former Duke University diver Jaimee Gundry competed in the preliminaries of the women’s 10-meter platform diving event Tuesday at the 2017 FINA World Aquatic Championships.
Representing her native country of South Africa, Gundry placed 35th in preliminaries with a score of 230.60. She wrapped up her list with her highest-scoring dive of the day, receiving 54.40 points on an armstand back double somersault with one-and-one-half twists.
A 2017 graduate of Duke, Gundry made her third FINA World Aquatic Championships appearance after previously competing at the event in 2015 and 2013.
