Duke's NCAA Tournament Streak Moves to 11
The Blue Devils will play in their 11th straight NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship after being selected to the field of 16 as announced on ESPNU Sunday night. Duke is one of five teams to have an active streak of at least 10 consecutive NCAA appearances with Maryland holding the longest at 15. Four of the teams are currently members of the ACC – Notre Dame at 12, Duke and UNC at 11 and Syracuse at 10. Overall, Johns Hopkins holds the longest streak in NCAA history, qualifying for 41 straight NCAA Tournaments from 1972-2012.
