SPARKS, Md. – Duke assistant coach Brooke Griffin has been named to the U.S. women’s national lacrosse team’s 27-player roster for the Team USA Fall Classic Oct. 6.
The October event will see Team USA take the field in an exhibition game against reigning NCAA champion James Madison at US Lacrosse Headquarters.
“Our coaching staff is excited for our first training camp and to coach this talented group of athletes,” said U.S. head coach Jenny Levy. “By 2021, our goal is to work with at least 80 players to build a hardworking, exciting and cohesive team to represent the USWNT in the next World Cup.
