Greer Captures Gold; Costabile Wins Bronze at WILC

DURHAM, N.C.—Former Duke University men’s lacrosse standout Zack Greer added another gold medal to his collection over the weekend as he helped lead Canada to the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Indoor Lacrosse Championship title. In addition, former Blue Devil CJ Costabile helped guide the United States to the bronze medal.

In front of a FIL-record 10,421 fans at the Carrier Dome, Canada outscored the Iroquois Nationals 4-1 in the final 15 minutes for the victory. Greer finished with a goal and an assist as Canada extended its senior FIL indoor record to 23-0. Duke’s career goals leader was one of eight players who were members on the squad that won gold outdoors last summer in Denver.
