MALIBU, Calif. – The Duke women’s basketball team closed a two-game road trip to California Sunday afternoon with a 99-65 victory over Pepperdine, which was played at the Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu, Calif. Blue Devil redshirt junior Rebecca Greenwell had a record-setting day as she drained a school-record eight three-pointers and finished with a career-high 31 points.
The Blue Devils (7-1) jumped out to an 11-0 lead, highlighted by two made three-pointers from Greenwell and one from Lexie Brown. Duke didn’t let off the gas the rest of the first quarter jumping out to a 29-15 lead after the first 10 minutes.
