Goodchild Heads to Australia U-19 Camp

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University women’s basketball incoming freshman Miela Goodchild has been selected one of 18 players to attend the Australian Under-19 women’s camp May 12-14 at the BA Center of Excellence in Australia.

The camp is the first step in preparation for the 2018 FIBA Under-18 Asian Championship, which will be held in India this October. The top four teams from that tournament will earn qualification through to the 2019 FIBA Under-19 World Cup.

Other players attending include Haylee Andrews (Queensland), Sharna Ayres (Victoria), Paige Bayliss (Queensland), Isabelle Bourne (ACT), Elissa Brett (South Australia), Emma Clarke (Western Australia), Chelsea D’Angelo (Victoria), Stephanie Gorman (Victoria), Ahlise Hurst (Victoria), Jade Kirisome (Queensland), Ula Motuga (Queensland), Jessica McDowell-White (Queensland), Maddi Pulli (Victoria), Jazmin Shelley (Victoria), Samantha Simons (South Australia), Darcy Rees (South Australia) and Emma Rowcliffe (ACT).
