DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke duo of freshman Miela Goodchild and redshirt junior Haley Gorecki combined for 36 points to lead the Blue Devils to a 74-55 victory over Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Gorecki collected just the eighth triple-double in school history with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, while Goodchild tallied 20 points on 6-of-9 three-pointers. Her six three-pointers made matched a Duke freshman record and the rookie has drained 11 treys the last two games.
The Blue Devils improved to 10-11 overall and 2-7 in the ACC, while Pitt dropped to 9-14, 0-9.
