Giles-Harris Receives Duke Football MVP Honors

DURHAM, N.C. – Redshirt sophomore linebacker Joe Giles-Harris was named the recipient of the Carmen Falcone Most Valuable Player Award at Duke University’s annual football banquet held Sunday evening.

Giles-Harris, a 6-2, 230-pound native of Nyack, N.Y., earned first team All-ACC and second team All-America honors in 2017 and leads the Blue Devils in tackles (117) and tackles for loss (15.0) while adding 4.5 sacks, one interception, four pass breakups and seven quarterback pressures. He currently leads all ACC linebackers in tackles for loss while ranking third in the league and tied for 20th in the nation in tackles per game (9.
