DURHAM, N.C. – After bringing her stellar collegiate career to a close in 2016, Duke University two-time All-America Christina Gibbons has received her first United States Women’s National Team invitation to train Jan. 13-23 at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Carson, Calif.
Gibbons, a product of Raleigh, N.C., is one of 29 players attending the first training camp of 2017 under the direction of head coach Jill Ellis.
“The players have had a good break since our last games in November and I know everyone is anxious to get back to work," said Ellis.
