Duke Rebounds
The third-ranked Blue Devils rebounded in a convincing way this past Saturday with a 14-4 victory over Richmond. Trailing 2-1 after the first quarter, Duke rattled off eight straight goals to secure a 9-2 halftime lead. Justin Guterding assisted on the tying goal and then threw in four straight to give Duke a comfortable lead. He finished with eight points overall. Defensively, Duke was outstanding in keeping the Spiders off the scoreboard in the second and fourth quarters and forcing 25 turnovers. Richmond managed only 25 shots for the game with 10 of the 14 on goal being stopped by goaltender Danny Fowler.
