After a 31-point barrage on Sunday night for the Portland Trail Blazers, Gary Trent Jr.‘s shots weren’t falling quite like they did against the Houston Rockets, so the former Blue Devil flirted with triple-double numbers against the Utah Jazz.
In a team-high 31 minutes of action, Trent Jr. scored just 12 points but also had eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals. The five assists were the most of anyone on the Blazers.
The guard had good looks from the field but just couldn’t get his shots to find nylon, going 4-for-15 from the floor and 2-of-7 from 3-point range.
