DURHAM, N.C. – Duke redshirt freshman wide receiver Jarett Garner underwent surgery on Monday to address a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and will miss the remainder of the 2019 season.
Garner, who had appeared in three games this season, suffered the injury in Duke's 33-30 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday.
The surgical procedure was performed by Dr. Ned Amendola.
Duke (3-2, 1-1 ACC) returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Georgia Tech (1-4, 0-2 ACC). Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. The game will be televised by Regional Sports Network.
