In a rainy day in Durham, Duke outlasted the Boston College Eagles 9-7 behind an always stout defense. Duke’s defense was all over the field today and continue to show not only are they one of the best defenses in the ACC but the entire country. Thomas Sirk put together a strong first half performance with multiple long passes to freshman WR T.J. Rahming. With Johnell Barnes suspended for the first half, Rahming stepped up and provided a big play option that Duke has been sorely missing these past two weeks.
