With Virginia Tech coming off a huge upset over #4 Virginia earlier this week, the 14th ranked Blue Devils made sure the Hokies didn’t get their second straight upset by routing the Hokies 82-58. Duke started this game extremely well with the team jumping out to a 26-9 run in the first 10 minutes of the game and never looking back from there.
Duke captain Marshall Plumlee was dominant in this game, finishing with a huge double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the team in both categories and beat his previous career-high of 18 points in the Blue Devils’ last game.
