The Duke Basketball program has yet another player on the Julius Erving Award Watch List as freshman Matthew Hurt was named along with a crop of the best small forwards in college basketball.
Hurt comes into Duke as the No. 12 ranked player in the 247 Sports Composite Rankings and the No. 11 player in the ESPN 100.
In this history of the Julius Erving Award, Duke has yet to have a winner, although the award has only been in existence since the 2014-15 season.
