NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation has named Duke redshirt junior linebacker Tre Freeman to the 2024 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List.
Freeman is one of 42 student-athlete nominated for the 21st annual Lott IMPACT Trophy, which honors the top defensive player in college football who makes the biggest impact for his team, both on and off the field.
Freeman, a 6-0, 231-pound Durham, N.C., native led the Blue Devils and finished sixth in the ACC with 106 tackles in 2023 to become the first Duke player since 2019 to register 100-plus tackles in a single-season.
