DURHAM - Duke fencers Christina Ferrari, Stephen Kim, Allen Marakov and David Tierney have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2024 Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large teams, the organization announced.
The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in July.
Ferrari earns the award for the third consecutive year while Kim collects the accolade for the second time.
