DURHAM, N.C. – The 2017 WNBA semifinals will kick off action Tuesday, Sept. 12 with Phoenix Mercury at Los Angeles Sparks and the Washington Mystics at the Minnesota Lynx. Four Duke women’s basketball alumna will hit the hardwood with the squads.
Krystal Thomas of the Washington Mystics will open play at top-seeded Minnesota Lynx at 8 p.m., on ESPN2. Monique Currie and the Phoenix Mercury will tip at 10 p.m. (ET) against Alana Beard and Chelsea Gray of the second-seeded Los Angeles Sparks. The game will be aired live on ESPN2.
The series are a best of five with the second game tipping Thursday, Sept.
