DURHAM, N.C. – With the U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball competition getting set to start Saturday in Jacksonville, Fla., two former and two future Duke women’s golfers will compete from April 27 to May 1 at the Timuquana Country Club. Seeing action will be Duke alumnae Anna Morales and Evelyn Orley along with incoming freshmen Megan Furtney and Erica Shepherd.
A field of 64 sides, 128 golfers, will compete in the championship. Following 18-hole rounds of stroke play on April 27 and 28, the field will be cut to the low 32 sides for match play. Five 18-hole rounds of match play will determine the champion.
