DURHAM – Four members of the Duke women's golf team have received Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar accolades following the 2021-22 campaign. Juniors Megan Furtney and Erica Shepherd, sophomore Phoebe Brinker and freshman Rylie Heflin were honored.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics as student-athletes must hold a minimum of a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50.
Both Furtney and Shepherd received honors for the third straight year, while Brinker earned the distinction for the second consecutive season.
