DURHAM – A pair of former Duke women's golf standouts – Virginia Elena Carta and Miranda Wang – are set to open action in LPGA and Epson Tour Qualifying Tournament Stage II, which will take place Nov. 17-20 at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla.
A field of 178 golfers will compete for the chance to move on to Q-Series that will take place from Nov. 28 through December 11 in Alabama. All golfers will see action in a 72-hole stroke-play format on the Bobcat and Panther Courses this week.
Both Carta and Wang helped lead Duke to the 2019 NCAA Championship in Fayetteville, Ark.
