Although LeBron James richly deserved the MVP trophy after Cleveland won the NBA championship, former Blue Devil Kyrie Irving may have had the play of Game Seven: with the game tied at 89-89, with 0:53 left, Irving got Golden State's Steph Curry in a mano a mano matchup at the right side of the top of the key.
As great as Curry is, he's not a phenomenal defender and while he went up to contest Irving, he went up a fraction of a second too late to do anything about it.
Irving hit the shot to give Cleveland a three point lead.
