DURHAM, N.C. – Saturday marks the first day of the NFL Playoffs and four former Duke letterwinners are in the hunt for the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Lucas Patrick (Green Bay Packers), Breon Borders (Tennessee Titans), Ross Cockrell (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and Matt Skura (Baltimore Ravens) each helped their respective teams into the NFL Playoffs.
Patrick and the Packers earned a bye for wild card weekend (Jan. 9 & 10) after capturing the NFC North championship and the No. 1 seed in the NFC. During the divisional round (Jan. 16 & 17), the Packers will host the lowest remaining seed on the NFC side.
