Former All-American Elizabeth Williams has had a breakout professional basketball season in the WNBA this season after being traded to the Atlanta Dream. She recently opened up in an interview with Slam Magazine to discuss her struggling rookie season, the trade to Atlanta, playing with the USA Basketball women’s select team, and her impact with Dream this season.
Elizabeth Williams had an all-time great career for Duke Women’s Basketball. She averaged 14.4 and 7.9 rebounds per game and earned numerous awards including 2012 NCAA Freshman of the Year, a four-time All-American, the four-time ACC Defensive Player of the Year and all-conference team selection, and the 2015 National Defensive Player of the Year.
