Football Recognizes Spring Award Winners

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke head football coach David Cutcliffe handed out his yearly spring football awards on Saturday, highlighting five Blue Devils for their outstanding performances during spring period.

On offense, redshirt junior center Austin Davis and redshirt freshman wide receiver Keyston Fuller shared most improved player accolades. Last fall, Davis appeared in six games and was on the field for 66 snaps while backing up All-America center Matt Skura. Fuller redshirted during his true rookie year.

Defensively, redshirt freshman safety Jordan Hayes and redshirt sophomore linebacker Tinashe Bere received co-most improved player accolades.
