WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Landfall Tradition opened action Friday in Wilmington, N.C., with a soggy start and concluded with a suspension of play in the afternoon due to inclement weather, after most teams were able to get about 13-15 holes of play in at the 6,166-yard, par 72 Country Club of Landfall Dye Course.
Teams teed off at 9 a.m., with a shotgun start, but were forced to leave the course at approximately 10:50 a.m., due to weather. Play resumed at 1:00 p.m., but once again in the afternoon play was suspended until Saturday morning at 10 a.
