DURHAM, N.C. - Goals from senior Taylor Racioppi and freshman Marykate McGuire paced the No. 12 Duke Blue Devils (4-1-1) on Sunday, as they took down the Providence Friars (3-2-0), 2-1, at Koskinen to capture their third-straight win.
For the first time this season, the Blue Devils were able to put multiple shots in the back of the net in the first half, with Racioppi's coming in the 24th minute, followed by McGuire's in the 37th. It is also the third-straight multi-goal showing from Duke, as it has outscored opponents 7-1 in its last three games.
