DURHAM, N.C. – Despite putting together three straight wins to keep himself alive in the wrestleback bracket, redshirt junior Josh Finesilver concluded his season Friday at the NCAA Wrestling Championships after falling to No. 7 Jonathan Millner of Appalachian State.
Finesilver was one victory shy of becoming Duke's fifth NCAA All-American in program history. After going 1-1 during Thursday's opening day, Finesilver kicked off Day 2 by defeating No. 5 Ridge Lovett of Nebraska (fall, 2:50) and No. 20 Joshua Heil of Campbell (Dec., 8-5) to set up a showdown with Millner for All-American status.
