Jeff Capel has had an impressive recruiting run since taking the Pitt job but he won’t be signing Aundre Hyatt: the 6-6 Virginian is going to choose between Rutgers, Seton Hall and LSU.
Still, Capel has put together a group he can build on and the mood around Pitt basketball is far better now than it was near the end of the season. The Kevin Stallings era already seems years ago.
