DURHAM, N.C. – Sophomore Kyle Filipowski was presented the 2024 Swett-Baylin Most Valuable Player Award at the Duke men's basketball annual banquet and awards ceremony, held Thursday evening at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Filipowski, a consensus Second Team All-America selection, led the team in scoring (16.4), rebounds (8.3), blocks (1.5), steals (1.1), total field goals (220) and total free throws (112). The center was named Second Team All-America by the Associated Press, U.S. Basketball Writers Association and National Association of Basketball Coaches, and was the only underclassman on each of the three, 15-player, teams.
