DURHAM – Duke men's basketball sophomore Kyle Filipowski has earned several national recognitions, including a spot on 2024 Men's National Ballot for the John R. Wooden Award, Sporting News All-America Third Team and Associated Press All-ACC First Team.
The Wooden national ballot consists of 15 student-athletes who are candidates for the Wooden Award All-American Team and Wooden Award Trophy as the most outstanding college basketball player in the United States, most recently won by a Blue Devil when Zion Williamson did so in 2019.
A native of Westtown, New York, Filipowski was named First Team All-ACC on March 11 after improving in nearly all statistical categories as a sophomore.
