DURHAM, N.C. – Duke field hockey was one of 73 programs to earn the 2019 Zag Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I National Academic Team Award, as announced by the NFHCA on Tuesday morning.
The Division I National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the 2019-2020 school year.
The Blue Devils compiled a team GPA of 3.517 during the fall semester. While under the direction of head coach Pam Bustin, the team has received the honor all nine seasons.
