DURHAM, N.C. – Duke fencing head coach Alex Beguinet and the Blue Devils welcome freshman Agoston Walter, a product of Framingham, Mass., to the program for the 2016-17 campaign.
Prior to Duke: Walter joins the Blue Devils from the Advanced Math and Science Academy in Marlborough, Mass, and was a member of the Zeta Fencing Club under the coaching of Zoran Tulum and Matthew Zich. Outside of the fencing gym, Walter was a member of the National Honor Society, served as Vice-President and Treasurer of Student Government and was a math tutor.
