The newest Duke basketball assistant coach acknowledged the history of the program.
Tuesday marked the first official day with the Duke basketball program for new assistant coach Emanuel Dildy as the Blue Devils officially announced his addition to the squad.
Dildy comes to Durham from Oklahoma where he rejoined Porter Moser’s staff, after spending multiple years with him at Loyola Chicago, upon his hiring by the Sooners in 2021, but Moser just promoted Dildy to an associate head coaching role this summer.
However, that promotion could not compare to the idea of joining the Duke coaching staff as an assistant.
