Ebobisse, U.S. Under-20s Capture CONCACAF Title

DURHAM, N.C.—After a loss to open the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship, former Blue Devil Jeremy Ebobisse and the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team made history by claiming the nation’s first CONCACAF U-20 Championship as well as a bid to the U-20 World Cup. The U.S. captured the trophy by beating Honduras 5-3 on penalty kicks after a scoreless 120 minutes.

Ebobisse, a starting striker for the United States, played and started in five of the six games for the red, white and blue. In pool play, the recent Portland Timbers pick, went the distance for the United States and provided assists in wins over Haiti and St.
