DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke's Chandler Eaton has been named among 25 men's college golfers to the Preseason Watch List for the Haskins Award, presented annually to the men's golf player of the year. The watch list was unveiled Friday morning on Golf Channel.
The two-time All-America selection enters the 2019-20 season with Duke's second lowest career scoring average of 71.41, trailing only the 71.32 posted by former standout Alex Smalley (2015-19). Eaton is No. 3 on Duke's career list for rounds in the 60s (34), tied for third in career rounds of par or better (67) and eighth in career top-5 finishes (nine).
