DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke rowing team will begin its spring season Saturday, traveling to Clemson, S.C., as part of the Carolina Cup. The Blue Devils will take on North Carolina and the host Tigers for the Carolina Cup title.
Action begins at 8:30 a.m., as the boats will cover the 2,000-meter course on Lake Hartwell.
The Blue Devils swept the Carolina Cup last year with 99 overall points to best the Tigers (87) and Tar Heels (78).
The Blue Devils last competed November 12 at the Rivanna Romp in Charlottesville, Va. In Virginia, Duke turned in three top-five finishes, highlighted by the top varsity 4+ capturing a first-place finish.
