DURHAM – As the Blue Devils wrap up their fall slate, the Duke women's lacrosse program shines its spotlight on the freshman class, this week featuring Tess Gagliano.
Gagliano comes to Durham from Barrington, R.I., as a midfielder from Barrington High School.
Throughout her high school career, she has accumulated 217 goals and 75 assists for 292 points. During her senior year, Gagliano was named a US Lacrosse All-American, first team All-State, US Lacrosse All-Academic and earned the US Lacrosse Jackie Pitts Award. She has also grabbed numerous additional first team All-Division honors and was even the top freshman goal scorer in the state of Rhode Island.
