DURHAM, N.C.— The Duke women’s basketball program teamed up with the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development to host a free basketball clinch this past week. A total of 30 youth registered for the event, which was tailored for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Members of the Duke women’s basketball team helped teach basketball techniques during the 90-minute clinic. The clinic tied in with April being Autism Awareness Month.
The Blue Devil Network was there to capture this special event.
