Highly-touted Duke freshman Brandon Ingram already has very high expectations heading into his first year with the Blue Devils, and he recently added to his list of preseason accolades by being named to the preseason watch list for the 2016 Julius Erving Award given to the top small forward in the NCAA.
The Julius Erving Award is only in it’s second year with Arizona’s Stanley Johnson taking home the first award last season. Brandon Ingram is an extremely talented and versatile small forward, who has drawn comparisons to NBA star Kevin Durant because of his excellent ability to score the ball along his size and length.
