DURHAM, N.C. -- The 2016 Duke men’s and women’s cross country schedule was released Thursday morning, with the Blue Devils’ upcoming slate featuring a season-opening home contest, three regular-season meets from the 2015 campaign and a return to the Roy Griak Invitational.
“With the new NCAA cross country qualifying period starting Sept. 9th, two weeks earlier than in past years, we thought it would be wise to take an early trip to Terre Haute, home of this fall’s NCAA Championship in November, to preview that course and get an early taste of national-level competition,” head men’s cross country coach Norm Ogilvie said.
