USA Wrestling recently hosted the University Nationals tournament for current and former college wrestlers. Eight Blue Devils competed in the event this year and two of them, Jacob Kasper and Mitch Finesilver, finishing among the top five competitors in their weight class and one earning a medal.
Redshirt junior Jacob Kasper finished in 4th place in the University Nationals Tournament Greco-Roman division in the 98 kilogram weight class. He was the only Duke wrestler competing in the Greco-Roman event. Kasper started the tournament very well and had a chance to earn a third place spot but lost in the final game of the consolation bracket to fall to fourth.
