DURHAM, N.C. -- Members of the Duke women’s tennis team visited a local elementary school in Durham, N.C., Monday afternoon and held a mini-tennis clinic for students in attendance.
“I think it’s good for us to reach out to the community,” senior Chalena Scholl said. “You also hear a lot about giving back to the game. I think that’s important to keep in mind. There was someone who introduced us to tennis, and we’ve had such a great opportunity to come to Duke, because of that first person who introduced us to tennis.
