DURHAM, N.C. – A number of former Duke women's soccer stars are on the grind in the professional ranks in the National Women's Soccer League. Ella Stevens is set to begin her first season in the NWSL as a member of the Chicago Red Stars.
Stevens, the 24th overall pick in this year's National Women's Soccer League College Draft, became the first Blue Devil to be drafted by the Red Stars in program history. With her selection, Duke has had 14 all-time selections in the NWSL Draft, and at least one pick in the last five drafts.
