Duke Women’s Soccer Advances to 2015 NCAA College Cup

3rd-seeded Duke Women’s Soccer is on their way to compete in the NCAA Women’s Soccer semifinals after winning in the first four rounds of the national tournament, including most recently a narrow victory over the region’s top seed Stanford that ended in a 1-1 tie but the Blue Devils were able to win in penalty kicks.

The Blue Devils have been excellent in the tournament so far, blanking their first two opponents James Madison and Florida Gulf Coast and then taking out the top two seeds in their side of the bracket by winning at Florida 2-1 and at Stanford.
