Earlier, we reported that six current and former Duke women’s lacrosse players were invited to the U.S. National Team trials over the weekend. The roster has officially been selected after the try-outs and out of 108 participants two Blue Devils, Sarah Bullard and Maddie Crutchfield, were added to the 2015-2016 U.S. Women’s National Team.
Midfielder Sarah Bullard, class of 2011, has previous national team experience as a part of the 2009 and 2013 U.S. World Cup Championship teams. At Duke, she was honored as an Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association All-American and finalist for the Tewaarton Trophy for National Player of the Year twice in addition to numerous ACC accolades.
