DURHAM, N.C. -- The Duke women’s cross country team travels to Terre Haute, Ind., Saturday morning for the Sycamore Invitational, held at the LaVern Gibson Championship cross country course. The women’s five-kilometer race is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
In addition to Duke, No. 9 Michigan and host Indiana State are also slated to compete Saturday.
The Blue Devils look to field an eight-competitor lineup that includes freshman Lindsay Billings and sophomore Gabrielle Richichi. Billings, competing in just her second collegiate cross country race, opened her career with a first-place showing at the Duke Alumni Meet one week earlier, crossing the finish in a four-kilometer time of 14:14.
